Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all wallet recharges and usage of the SEAES Platform operated by SEAES. By making a payment on the Platform, you agree to this policy.
1. Wallet Recharge Refunds
If you have recharged your SEAES Wallet and wish to request a refund of unused balance, the following conditions apply:
- Refund requests must be submitted via email to hello@seaes.ai or through the refund request feature in your billing dashboard.
- Only the unused portion of your paid recharge balance is eligible for refund. Balance that has already been consumed through product usage cannot be refunded.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days from the date of approval.
- We reserve the right to verify the refund request and may require identity confirmation before processing.
2. Promotional Credits
The ₹5,000 signup credits (or any other promotional credits) are provided free of charge for evaluation purposes and are non-refundable under any circumstances. Promotional credits:
- Cannot be converted to cash or transferred to another account.
- Are applied before paid balance when usage is deducted.
- Expire according to the terms communicated at the time of grant.
3. Consumed Credits
Credits that have been consumed through product usage (calls made, messages sent, scans performed, days accessed) are non-refundable. Each usage deduction is final and irreversible. You can review your complete usage history at accounts.seaes.ai/billing/transactions.
4. GST Treatment on Refunds
When a refund is approved for unused paid balance:
- A GST credit note is generated for the refunded amount.
- The refund amount is calculated as the unused balance only (the portion you were credited in your Wallet, excluding the GST that was paid).
- The corresponding GST component is adjusted via credit note as per GST regulations.
- Example: If ₹2,000 was added to your Wallet (from a ₹2,360 payment including ₹360 GST), and ₹1,500 remains unused, the refund is ₹1,500 plus the proportionate GST adjustment via credit note.
5. Failed Transactions
If a payment was debited from your account but the recharge did not reflect in your SEAES Wallet:
- The amount is typically auto-refunded by Razorpay within 5-7 business days.
- If the amount is not refunded within 7 days, contact hello@seaes.ai with the transaction ID and payment screenshot.
- We will verify with Razorpay and ensure the amount is either credited to your Wallet or refunded to your original payment method.
6. Account Cancellation
You may cancel your SEAES account at any time by contacting hello@seaes.ai. Upon cancellation:
- Any unused paid balance in your Wallet is eligible for refund per the terms above.
- Unused promotional credits are forfeited.
- Your data will be retained for 30 days to allow export, after which it is permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Active subscriptions (if any) are cancelled immediately. No partial-period refunds are provided for subscription plans.
7. Disputes
If you believe a billing error has occurred (incorrect deduction, duplicate charge, etc.):
- Contact hello@seaes.ai with the details of the disputed transaction within 30 days of the transaction date.
- Our team will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
- If the dispute is valid, the amount will be credited back to your Wallet or refunded to your payment method.
- If you are unsatisfied with the resolution, you may escalate to hello@seaes.ai.
8. Exceptions
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Credits consumed through normal product usage.
- Promotional or bonus credits.
- Requests made more than 90 days after the recharge date.
